Joseph C. Hedgecock
January 1, 1942 – May 6, 2021
In the early 1970’s, the Lord called a prodigal son named Joseph Hedgecock into total surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. With that decision, he submitted himself to the Lord’s invitation to enjoy close, intimate fellowship with Him and the Father. This led to the calling as a apostle, teacher, and pastor to bring the special message of hearing God and having communion with Him on a daily basis.
On Joseph’s first trip to Europe in 1986, he traveled to sixteen countries and had divine appointments with leaders of many Spirit-filled churches. On subsequent trips, he met other believers, and Servants of the Ministries began to grow. Over the years, he wrote thirteen books about living and functioning in God’s Kingdom. The Lord told him to include simple instructions so that a newborn child of God could understand the truth. His messages were well received around the world.

When he was not travelling, his focus was on a smaller team of people who were trained to reach out to their friends, family, and nation. During his trips around the world, he often travelled with someone who could reach their home country with the same message. He invested his life in people around the world. The seed he planted changes many lives.
Saying Goodbye
Joseph suffered the effects of liver failure in early April of 2021. He passed away on Thursday, 6th May. His memorial service was held at his local church in Oklahoma with many watching online around the world. His remains were laid to rest in his home community in Tennessee.
We received expressions of gratitude to Joseph from all around the world. Many believers are indebted to him for the sacrifices he made. Over the years, Joseph reached countless people and gave them the tools they needed to know God personally.

Joseph’s life glorified the Lord because he followed God’s calling and was obedient to the commission given to him. He went where the Lord told him to go and ministered to those he was sent to. His hope was unfading. He believed the best way to help someone was to connect them to their Father and Jesus Christ so they could know Them. All he wanted was to help people develop their love relationship with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:18-20 explains Joseph’s heart for ministry. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Joseph expressed God’s love to everyone. He opened his heart in every situation, especially to those who had fought against God. He did not believe anyone’s bad choices kept them from receiving the love of God. He knew deep repentance was possible because of his own testimony.
Joseph will live on in our memories. His books help us apply what we have already received through his messages! His focus was always about moving deeper. His love and commitment to the Lord helped us all. If we are to celebrate Joseph’s life, he would want everyone to make a personal commitment to remove any remaining hindrances that separate us from our loving Heavenly Father as we finish our race of faith!
